Lunar Capital is a wholly black owned Investment Management Company based and regulated in South Africa. 29.5% of our shareholders are Black women. “Growth at a Reasonable Price” is our investment motto. We believe that technology and innovation are key growth drivers. We seek to invest in local and global Technology, Healthcare, Consumer and Financial Services businesses that develop or utilise technology to attain competitive advantage; provided that we can acquire them at reasonable prices. Investing comes with risk and thus it is important to have an appropriate risk to reward proposition in our investment portfolios. We believe that we should have 'skin in the game' and all our shareholders and employees are significantly invested in our funds. Our objectives are to improve the investing culture in our communities and build long-term wealth for our clients. Our unit trust offering, the Lunar BCI Worldwide Flexible Fund, was launched on 1 June 2016, and in June 2021, we launched our private client Offshore Portfolio Management Service.
