Cartesian Capital is a black female owned and managed boutique Emerging Markets focussed Asset Management business with the primary goal of providing the highest level of professional fund management services.

We are a multi-asset class investment house across a range of local and global listed asset classes, with a focus on listed Fixed Income funds. Our team of experienced investment professionals has a deep understanding of the markets and a track record of delivering strong returns.

The name Cartesian is derived from the French philosopher, mathematician and writer, René Descartes, who is accredited with saying: “I think, therefore I am”; and whose mathematical legacy is the Cartesian or analyticalgeometry (using x, y & z as unknowns and a, b & c as the knowns); also pioneering superscript as powers of exponents (example: x4) and for pioneering the Cartesian coordinates, which specifies each point on a plane, for example: x-y-intercept = (0,0)
